Book Introduction Grandma's Piglets

Grandma's Piglets

Sharing with Vietnamese parents about the desire to find a method of raising children that is suitable for Vietnamese culture and tradition, but ensures modernity and global integration; sympathizing with Vietnamese parents about the nostalgia for old memories, wanting to pass on to their children the warmth of homeland love, family love and familiar, simple things and objects; sharing with Vietnamese parents about the worry of "computerization", when seeing children becoming more and more dependent on tablets and smartphones; sharing with teachers and parents who are eager to find poems and songs to sing and play with their children, Anbooks respectfully introduces a new result of the work of Anbooks - Ankids: the Vietnamese - English bilingual musical story series: The story by the cardboard box - Kitten in the carton & Grandma's Piglets.

“Musical story books” are a genre of books that support storytelling; in which, using small songs with the same motif as dialogue for characters or for sounds appearing in the scene, at the same time using rhyming verses as introductions or narration. The melodies and rhythms used for storytelling are all recorded in the book. To make it easier to remember the songs, in each corner below the book there is also a QR code linked to a Youtube channel with content corresponding to the melody and rhythm of each page performed by the author himself. This is the result of a creative process that goes beyond the usual forms of books. The techniques, technologies and steps of combining related parties to create the finished product are not difficult, simply optimizing the artistic materials to be close, easy to apply for parents and children.

The Musical Stories series is a work inspired by the author Tran Tan Sam's observation of his first son, along with a deep understanding and sympathy for the viewpoint: "Education is support for the life of the educational subject" (it is "support" not "teaching", it is "life" not just "future life"). Each simple poem, each warm and cheerful piece of music throughout the series is not only pure art but also content that supports children in developing their language skills and musical appreciation.
